HOW DO YOU BUY SAMAK HANDMADE PRODUCTS

All of our bags are handmade to order. That’s the only way to make them for this price at this scale. We do try to keep some in stock but usually there is a week waitlist for a given model. If you are interested in placing an order please be patient. If you have a deadline for gifting etc.
Here we will describe the process of buying our wonderful leather items through our online shop www.samakberlin.com/Shop, selecting payment methods and briefly explain the shipping conditions and special cases.
1. Guide through our Online Shop
As soon as you enter our shop, either by clicking on a link, entering the full html adress by or menu tabs, you will see a list of pictures of our products with the name of the item and the price without shipping fees nor VAT value add tax, which we do not need to charge because of being a small business with a small production capacity of 1-2 bags a day. In case you want to see a description, more fotos or more information about the item, click on it and it will take you to the products site. Therein is described the product and the main photo is shown, under which you can click on to see better details up to 5 more pictures per item.
In case you want to order the product, notice the BUY button which is next to the displayed products picture. When you click it it will add the item automatically to your SHOPPING CART, which you will see on the upper right position of the shop. Take into account that due to our production capabilities we only allow two bags from the same model per order. After the items have been added to your SHOPPING CART, next step is to click on the SHOPPING CART button, which should show now a red circle with how many items you have chosen.
By clicking the SHOPPING CART button, you will be redirected to YOUR CART site, where a list of the items adde to the cart are displayed. Here it is possible to edit your order, to add or to remove the items and how many of them. After checking and7or editing your shopping list follows the CHECKOUT process, in which your shipping and billing information is asked for. It is possible to send the items to one adress when the billing has another one, just check you uncheck the small box under the formulary where states (My shipping address is also my billing address). Fill out the formulary/ies with your information and click on the CONTINUE button.
Here you come to the PAYMENT OPTIONS where it is to decide if the items will be payed directly through PAYPAL, with a CREDIT CARD (also through paypal) or with a bank transfer after the order has been placed. Check the payment option you would like to use and click on the ORDER AND PAY button.
2. Shipping and shipping policies
For articles above 100€ we offer free shipping almost everywhere in the world. Countries member of the European Union have a 9 € shipping fee when the total value of the order is below 100 €. Inside Germany is 5,60 € and overseas or to Switzerlan, Finland and Norway is 15 €. We ship our orders Normaly with DHL and take from 1 to 2 days to arrive in Germany and from 3 to 7 days to arrive to your shipping adress (abroad). The items will be ported with insurance and are trackable with a tracking number. We dont make ourselves responsible for damages during transportation, please direct your attention towards the courier service provider (in this case DHL). Our packing is strong and has peroven to be very effective to protect our products.
3. Returns and Refunds
We accept returns for a period of 30 days since the order was delivered for shipping, the return shipping fee is not included in the price. The item must be unused, well packed and in perfect conditions to apply for a money refund. Refunds take place through Paypal or Bank transfer within a period of 30 days after we receive the returned item. If the refund should be done by bank transfer, please send the bank information as well as a valid telefon number.
In case the refund is not accepted because of bad conditions of the product, we will ship on our expense the item back to you 🙂
